Before you charge in and install the package, be sure to print and read the installation instructions in the "Remember? Manual Folder" file named "Part 1, Overview & Installation".
If you are reinstalling this version over top of an old version, be sure to read the "Changes in Remember? V2.2.0" file for important hints to avoid problems. It is EXTREMELY important that you update both the INIT and DA with the new versions. Do not mix old and new versions of the files.
Starting with this version, the documentation is being distributed as a set of Apple TeachText™ files. EVERYONE should be able to read these since the TeachText application is a standard part of the Mac distribution disks. You must use TeachText to see the illustrations in the manual.
The manual is also available as a Microsoft Word™ version 4 document file. It is nicely formatted and contains a table of contents and index. It is NOT included as part of this archive file since it is large (about 150 kbytes.) It is included on the distribution disk mailed to folks who include an extra $5 when they register. It may also be available as a separate archive file, in which case you should be able to get it from whereever you got this archive.
*** SPECIAL REMINDER TO USERS OF "32-Bit Quickdraw"! ***
You must use 32-Bit Quickdraw version 1.2 or later or you may experience strange problems with the DA's sub-menus.
Pass the package along to other folks, but please be very sure to pass along ALL files (and pass original files, not the copies you have in your system folder which may have been altered.) I would prefer that you pass along the original archive file.
Keep watching your local BBS or online service for updates to the package and occasion files with more events, birthdays and such.
Take care,
